After having performed on numerous international stages all through their career,

Kathryn Bradney and Igor Piovano , ex-principal dancers and ballet masters of the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, bring together their passion in order to form the young and less young in a friendly environment called:

Centre Igokat (the contraction of Igor-Kathryn)

The Dance School Igokat opened it’s doors in 2006 and has seen the number of students increase from year to year.

The dance center now has more than 800 students.

Professional, pre-professional and beginner classes are offered from the youngest age to adults.

We offer a serious pre-professional training program which has up to 30 hours of classes per week.

Each year, new young talents come to our center and several of them have already been accepted into world-renowned international schools and companies.

Our studios

Igokat has three spacious studios, the first one built in 1953 to welcome Boris Kniaseff the “Master of Étoiles” and his International Dance Academy. Here he creates his famous floor barre and in 1954 Serge Lifar, renowned from the Paris Opera, takes over the studio and delegates it to his friend Nicolas Zvereff (Diaghilev Russian Ballets).
