Francisco Javier Casado Suárez was born in Cádiz, Spain.
It was there that he discovered classical dance in 2004 at the Flick Flock Danza academy and dance company, directed by Susana Alcón Blanes.
The school is particularly renowned for its work in inclusive dance and its choreographic creations involving individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
He took part in the company’s productions at the O.R.P.H.E.E. Festival at the Théâtre Montansier in Versailles, as well as the Dos Orillas Festival at the Mohamed V Theatre in Rabat.In 2010, at the age of 18, he joined the Rudra Béjart School-Workshop, then directed by Michel Gascard.
In 2012, under the guidance of Azari Plisetski and at the invitation of Gil Roman, he joined the Béjart Ballet Lausanne and its repertoire.
It was within this prestigious and renowned dance company that he had the opportunity to perform several roles from Maurice Béjart’s repertoire, such as Sarastro in The Magic Flute, the Clown in the ballet Piaf, Brel and the Black Eagle in Brel and Barbara, and the couple from Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in the iconic Ballet for Life.He also contributed to the creation of the company’s new repertoire, dancing in choreographies by Gil Roman, Joost Vrouwenraets, Giorgio Madia, Yuka Oishi, and others.
In the meantime, Javier developed an interest in teaching and began leading workshops and offering private dance classes to share his experience.
In 2023, he took part in the training program for the State Diploma in Dance Teaching at the Centre National de la Danse in Pantin.In 2023, he joined the AFJD.
He is currently a classical dance teacher for adults at the Igokat Dance Academy.
