Margaux Alexandra Mercier
Born on May 27, 2002, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, she began dancing at the age of five at the Hans Meister Ballet Academy, where she trained for ten years in Russian ballet technique.

From a very young age, she took several Russian Ballet Association exams there, gradually progressing up to Level 2.

In 2017, she joined the Marina Grandjean Dance School for a transitional year before entering the pre-professional training program at the Centre de Danse Igokat in Lausanne in 2018. There, she followed an intensive curriculum of over 20 hours of classes per week, combining classical ballet, contemporary dance, and modern jazz.

During her training, she attended numerous summer workshops, where she benefited from the teaching of internationally renowned instructors such as Igor Piovano, Kathryn Bradney, Hans Meister, Monique Ammann, Lilia Hux-Molotova, Natalia Gabry Jonczyk, and Gizella Erdöz. She also attended open classes at the Prix de Lausanne with Clairemarie Osta and took part in classes with the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.

On stage, she has performed several significant roles: Tinker Bell in Peter Pan (2025), the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz (2023/2024), Drosselmeyer in The Nutcracker (2021/2022), and appeared in The Carnival of the Animals (2019). She was also invited to perform in a choreographic project at the Swiss Tech Center for the HEP-Béjune graduation ceremony.

Margaux holds a high school diploma with a mathematics specialization and a C1 level in English. Over the years, she has developed key stage qualities such as discipline, creativity, resilience, teamwork, and strong adaptability.

She is currently a classical dance teacher for children and adults, as well as a modern and contemporary dance teacher at the Igokat Dance Academy.
