Giuliano Cardone was born in Naples where he studied classical ballet at the school «Lyceum Mara Fusco» for 6 years. He won first prize at the Concours Danza Si in Rome.
The choreographer George Iancu created the role Tadzio (Mort à Venise) for Giuliano Cardone with the Opéra de Gênes.
In 2000, he was accepted to join the Rudra de Maurice Béjart school.
In 2002, he was accepted into the Béjart Ballet Lausanne company where he danced soloist and principal roles in Lumière, Ballet for Life, Le Même et un Autre, Le Sacre du Printemps, Boléro, Brel et Barbara, L’Amour et la Danse, La Flûte Enchantée, L’Art d’être Grand-Père, Les 7 Danses Grecques, Bhakti II, le Soldat Amoureux, Und so Weiter, Le Renard, etc…
In 2003, he performed the principal role in the ballet «La Mer» which was created for him by Maurice Béjart.
In 2007, he danced the gala tributed to Gianni Versace, at ‘la Scala de Milan’ as well as in the «Gala Tag Andersen» with Johann Kobborg, Martin Vedel and the Royal Danish Ballet.
In 2008, he danced as a soloist and principal dancer in the productions La Traviata and La Belle Hélène with the Lausanne Opera.
In 2009, he participated as a choreographer and dancer in the «Save Room» project for the ‘Centre National de la Danse’ in Paris.
He danced as a principal dancer in «Le 6ème Elément» with the Igokat Company at the Métropole Theatre in Lausanne, as well as for the re-opening of the Jorat Theatre in «Dentro».
In November 2009, he danced as a principal dancer with the Igokat Company at the Teatro Nuovo de Turin for the second anniversary of the passing of Maurice Béjart.
In March 2010, he danced in the opening of the Lugano Festival
In June 2010, he danced as a principal dancer with the Igokat Company in «Tais-toi et Danse» at the Métropole Theatre in Lausanne.
In December 2010, he danced as a soloist in the Opera of Lausanne’s production of La Fille de Madame Angot.
In May, November and December 2011, he danced as a principal in «BD – Ballet Dessiné» at the Octogone Theatre in Pully and at the Vevey Theatre.
In July 2012, he danced as a principal dancer with the Igokat Company in the Gala for the opening of theVignale Danza festival in Italy.
In November and December 2012, he danced as a principal with the Igokat Company in «Une Chance, un Sourire» at l’Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne and at the Marens Theatre in Nyon.
In December 2012, he was contracted as a soloist dancer for the Lausanne Opera’s production of «Orphée aux Enfers».
In Novemeber 2013, he danced as a principle dancer in «Tango de Piazzola» with Julie Lamby for the «Midi-Concert» at the Conservatoire de Lausanne with the musicians: Magalie Bourquin, Felix Froschhammer and Nico Prinz.
In December 2013, he danced as a principal with the Igokat Company in extracts of «Give & Take» for the re-opening of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
In 2014, he danced a principal role with the Magda Leon Company for their new creation of «Carmina Burana» at the Chaux-de-Fonds.
In November and December 2014, he danced as a principal with the Igokat Company in «Vouloir c’est Pouvoir» at l’Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
In December 2014, he was invited to dance as principle with Julie Lamby for the Nestlé Gala in Vevey.
In January 2015, he was principal dancer and choreographer with Julie Lamby in the show “Noche de Tango” with Juan Etchepareborda (singer) and Pascal Danet (pianist) at the Café-théâtre de la Voirie in Lutry.
In October 2015 and November 2015, he was principal dancer with the Igokat Company in “dansebook” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
In December 2015 and January 2016, he was hired as a dancer for the Opéra de Lausanne in “My Fair Lady”.
Since 2016, he has been a Youth Monitor for “Jeunesse et Sport” Switzerland in the Gymnastics and Dance section.
In January 2016, he was principal dancer with the Compagnie Igokat in “dansebook” at the Théâtre de Colombier in Neuchâtel.
In June 2016, he was invited as a principal dancer at the “Gospel Air” at the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne.
In November 2016, he was the principal dancer with the Igokat Company in “Romeo seeks Juliet” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
In 2016, he began studying “Massage Therapy” at Ecovie School and in September 2018, he received his “Massage Therapist” diploma.
In November 2017, he was principal dancer with the Igokat Company in “Petrouchka le Clown” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
In November and December 2018, he was principal dancer with the Igokat Company in “Il Maestro Vivaldi” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
In March 2020, he is principal dancer with the Igokat Company in “The Wall” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.
He is currently a teacher at the Igokat Dance Academy as well as in various schools in Switzerland, principal dancer with the Igokat Company and freelance dancer.
