Sarah Frassanito was born in 1986 in the canton of Neuchâtel, she started dancing at the age of 6 at the Hélène Cazes dance school in Cernier.

Trained with the method of the “Royal Academy of Dance in London”, she successfully passed the RAD exams and in 2007 received her “Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies” for dance education.

From 2007 to 2009, she was accepted at the “Cinevox Junior Company” in Schaffhausen, directed by Malou Fenaroli Leclerc. She dances in “The Rite of Spring”, “Romeo and Juliet” and “Le Boléro” by Franz Brodmann.

From 2009 to the present day, she resumes teaching dance in several schools, among others, at the Igokat Center.

Since 2010, she has also been a dancer with the Igokat Company.

In May, November and December 2011, she danced in the new creation of the Igokat Company “BD – Ballet Dessiné” at the Théâtre de l’Octogone.

In November and December 2012, she danced with the Igokat Company in “Une Chance, un Sourire” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne and at the Marens Theater in Nyon.

In December 2012, she was hired as a solo dancer for the Opéra de Lausanne in “Orphée aux Enfers”.

In October 2013, she danced as a soloist with the Igokat Company in “Give & Take” at the Espace Culturel des Terreaux in Lausanne.

In December 2013, she danced as a soloist in excerpts from “Give & Take” for the reopening of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

In 2014, she was principal dancer with the Compagnie Magda Leon for her new creation of “Carmina Burana” in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

In August 2014, she became an instructor for “Jeunesse & Sport” Switzerland in the disciplines of gymnastics and dance.

She is currently a teacher for the Igokat Dance Academy as well as a teacher and freelance dancer.
